Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Missoula, MT 59802

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Missoula, Montana

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). On-call required 1-3 nights per week with 30-minute callback time. Weekend coverage required occasionally (day or night). Daily census of 8-10 patients with 1:1 patient ratio. Position requires floating between three different areas within the facility.

• 209-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma designation
• Teaching hospital environment with Epic charting system
• Rotate through three diverse areas: inpatient/ER/vascular/procedures, outpatient/breast ultrasound, and obstetrics
• Comprehensive ultrasound experience including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, and breast imaging
• Free parking provided for all staff
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required
• ARDMS certification required; additional credentials in AB, RDCS-RVT, BR, or OB/GYN preferred
• BLS certification required
• Valid Montana or Compact allied license in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency in abdominal, vascular, breast, and obstetric ultrasound procedures
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
