Contract | Days, 3×12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM | Weekend rotation required | Every other holiday | Standby call as needed | A 48-hour contract may be considered for candidates willing to work additional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all acuity types, including ICU and PCU patients, on a mixed-acuity unit
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios and adapt to varying patient care demands
• Perform telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in accordance with unit standards
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage on an alternating schedule
• Respond to standby call as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU required
• Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty being submitted to
• First-time travelers must have more than 5 years of experience as an RN
• Candidates must pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam; up to three attempts permitted under specific conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ICU-level patients in a mixed-acuity or step-down environment
• Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
