My client is hiring a Registered Nurse for the main Operating Room, which features seven fully equipped procedure rooms. Each room is staffed with one circulator and two surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient care and support. The OR team manages a broad range of specialties, including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, podiatry, spine procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, trauma, and urology. Nurses in this unit must maintain current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. The OR supports both inpatient and outpatient cases, creating a dynamic, fast‑paced environment for the nursing team. Responsibilities: Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient Requirements: Current state RN license. Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. 1+ years of Surgery experience __Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. ASLS certification preferred.
