About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10-hour and 12-hour shifts Experience: Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required. ACU/PACU experience required. License: Valid RN Licensure required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Charting system experience required. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Description: The Tele/Ambulatory Care RN is accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. The RN delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. They develop, implement, and coordinate a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. The RN fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families or support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in hospital settings is preferred. Travel experience is required. Weekend rotation may be needed. Maximum request time off is 7 days per contract. Holidays may require coverage based on predefined holiday dates. Candidates must complete a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates must provide references obtained within the last year.
