Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including complete physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, which includes preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handing off surgical instruments efficiently during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
