Day-to-Day Responsibilities Deal Screening & Initial Evaluation Review inbound and sourced investment opportunities across multiple sectors Conduct high-level financial and qualitative assessments to determine investment fit Analyze business models, growth drivers, customer concentration, and risk factors Financial Analysis & Return Assessment Build and review preliminary operating and transaction models Perform high-level valuation and return analyses (LBO, comps, precedent transactions) Assess capital structures, leverage capacity, and downside scenarios Market & Competitive Analysis Conduct industry and competitive research to contextualize opportunities Track market trends, transaction activity, and valuation benchmarks Support development of investment theses at the screening stage Investment Committee & Deal Team Support Prepare screening memos, summaries, and presentation materials Clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior investors Support transition of approved opportunities into full diligence processes What Makes This Work Engaging Direct influence on which deals move forward Exposure to a high volume of diverse transaction opportunities Development of rapid financial and strategic judgment Accelerated learning in private equity investing and deal execution Ideal Candidate Profile This profile reflects the competencies commonly sought for deal screening and early‑stage investment roles.
