Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

ER Nurse – Emergency Room

Day shift with rotation on weekends, typically from 6 AM to 6 PM and some 8 AM to 8 PM as needed.

36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN License in the state
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• TNCC or TNS Certification
• Less than 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques and state regulations.
• Documents care according to established standards.
• Conducts assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of patient care.
• Develops and implements patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and appropriate escalation of issues.
• Engages in professional nursing activities and peer reviews.
