Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Sacramento, CA office. The role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and providing counsel on labor law issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment-related claims and be committed to professionalism and teamwork. Duties Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges. Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues. Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Handle mediations in employment matters, including class actions and discrimination cases. Requirements JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. 4-6 years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background. Current CA Bar admission in good standing. Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the California Bar. Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
