Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Machining for our client. This position is responsible for making machine adjustments, reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and ensuring parts meet quality specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications.
• Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and X, Y, and Z axis settings to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Replace or adjust cutting tools, dies, and inserts as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Make program and machine adjustments to improve quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and identify tooling or equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating and setting up CNC machining equipment required.
• Experience adjusting or replacing tooling, dies, and cutting inserts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Experience making CNC program offsets and machine adjustments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for machine setup and inspection activities.
• Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and associated machinery.
• Manufacturing and machining facility.
• Frequent exposure to moving machinery, metal chips, coolants, lubricants, and moderate to loud noise.
• Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
• Team-oriented environment focused on safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
