About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation to join its team. The successful candidate will be a key partner in crafting and implementing a vision for the advancement program, with a focus on promoting a culture of philanthropy and enhancing regional engagement. This role requires a leader who can foster strong and collaborative partnerships with university leaders, oversee a comprehensive development program, and provide executive and administrative leadership to the Foundation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in managerial and leadership roles, with a proven track record in prospect discovery, major gift solicitation, and alumni engagement. They should be adept at working within complex organizations, have a history of effective institutional leadership, and be committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates for the Vice President for Advancement and Executive Director of the Foundation position at the company should be excellent communicators, capable of inspiring support and investment. The role demands a strategic leader with a proactive and energetic approach, who can manage staff, create a positive work environment, and invest in the professional development of employees.
