Analytics Engineer

Analytics Engineer – Business Analytics Team The Analytics Engineer will develop and deploy data‑driven systems solutions to improve planning and execution performance in Raytheon Digital Technology Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality. The role focuses on analyzing ERP data, curating complex datasets, and delivering trusted analytics and data products to stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and quality functions. Responsibilities Develop and optimize complex batch and near‑real‑time SQL queries to meet product requirements and business needs. Architect, implement, deploy, and maintain data‑driven solutions in Snowflake and Databricks. Develop and manage data pipelines supporting multiple reports, tools, and applications. Conduct advanced statistical analysis to yield actionable insights, identify correlations/trends, measure performance, and visualize disparate sources of data. Lead and engage in requirement planning, trainings, and presentations with technical and non‑technical teams. What You Will Learn SAP ERP/MES datasets, transactions, and backend databases. Understanding of manufacturing and supply‑chain processes. Foundational data sources and key performance metrics used by Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain to build quality data products. Designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining tasks, procedures, views, and ETL pipelines. Qualifications – Required Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. Strong experience with Snowflake and relational SQL database design, implementation, and optimization. Hands‑on experience with data cleansing, curation, manipulation, mining, and analysis across disparate systems. Practical experience with Git‑based configuration control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Qualifications – Preferred Degree in a technical field (CS, engineering, math, economics) and strong SQL‑based ETL/ELT expertise. Experience with Python (Pandas), schema/deployment tools (SchemaChange, Liquibase), and data orchestration platforms (Snowflake Tasks, ADF, Matillion, etc.). Knowledge of data modeling, Agile development, API‑driven data solutions, and relational web app databases. Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel) and statistical/ML concepts. Experience with manufacturing, supply‑chain, or operations systems; familiarity with ERP/MRP tools (SAP, Kinaxis). Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
