Overview
As our Level 2 IT Support Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components at an advanced level. This individual will install and configure computer hardware and provide IT support for the organization, tackling more complex issues and serving as an escalation point for other technicians. You will interact with various departments and levels, listen to their technical needs, and help implement IT solutions. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional troubleshooting abilities, customer service skills, and strong attention to detail.

This position is based out of our Fleet Feet Distribution Center located in Durham, NC, and requires occasional trips to the Carrboro, NC office. Some travel to retail stores is required.

The role is required to be onsite five days per week.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT, preferably in desktop support and network environments.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
Understanding and creation of network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems.
Advanced working knowledge of common hardware and operating systems.
Proficiency in administering Microsoft Entra, Office 365, Google Workspace and Okta.
Experience managing helpdesk systems, preferably Zendesk.
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools
Ability to effectively communicate about technology with employees who have a wide range of technical skills.
Eagerness to train and learn about new technology and systems.
Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, customer service skills.
Strong attention to details
Some travel is required to stores (up to 25%).
