EMT Event

Job OverviewProvides BLS care to customers during special events as necessary.ResponsibilitiesMaintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures, and standards.Must provide exceptional customer service as outlined by HEMT and the event coordinator.Provides effective and accurate communication with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the care teamActively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes.Provides BLS care to patients during events as necessary.Assists ALS staff in emergent and non-emergent responses as deemed necessary.Moving patients safely according to clinical and operational guidelines.Documents patient information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards, department policies/procedures.Safely and efficiently transfers care of patients to other care providers in appropriate setting.Remains in good standing with the HEMT office of the Medical Director.Must have the ability to meet minimum shifts throughout the year as set by leadership.Required Qualifications1 year of prehospital care experienceBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)EMT- Basic MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory BoardNationally Registered Emergency Med Tech (NREMT-B)Benefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
