About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Active RN license in the state of Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry IV insertion skills Description: Provide quality health care to the local community. Work in a fully accredited facility governed by a local board of trustees. The healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center. The facility employs a diverse workforce, including many healthcare professionals. Clinical staff on assignment must be checked against the state abuse registry prior to the start date. Weekly guaranteed hours provided. Flexibility for weekend shifts and call requirements as needed. Responsibilities include caring for patients of all ages. Supervision is provided by the nursing director. Equipment used includes Omnicell for medication dispensing and Meditech for electronic health records. Preferred experience includes familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments in the Med/Surg specialty. Candidates must possess a professional demeanor and commitment to quality patient care.
