Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located near Lancaster, CA, these roles are designed to support students in Special Day Classes (SDC) for the upcoming 26/27 school year.

You’ll have the chance to work with either 4th-6th grade or 7th-8th grade students with moderate/mild learning needs, collaborating with a strong team of educators and specialists to create a nurturing academic experience. Your expertise in special education will empower students to achieve their fullest potential through individualized instruction, classroom management, and advocacy.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Special Education Teaching credential (or eligibility) in California
• Experience with moderate/mild special day classes preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, families, and staff
• Dedication to creating and adapting IEPs, lesson plans, and behavioral interventions
• Commitment to fostering a positive, structured classroom environment
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Instruct and support students using evidence-based teaching strategies
• Collaborate with school teams to assess student growth and adapt programming
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and progress reviews
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Build trusting relationships with students and their families
