Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking two passionate professionals to serve as Special Education Teachers (SPED) within Special Day Classes, helping foster success for students with mild-to-moderate needs. The available positions cover two distinct classrooms: one focused on 4th-6th graders and the second on 7th-8th graders. These full-time, contract roles are available for the upcoming NSY 26/27 school year near Lancaster, CA.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate)
- Experience working with students in Special Day Class settings preferred
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Differentiate instruction for students with diverse learning profiles
- Partner with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
