Account Manager - Personal Lines

This Personal Lines Account Manager position works to create long‑term, trusting relationships with our clients and carriers. Their primary role is to proactively manage all services provided to our clients while looking for ways to improve quality and add value. In this role, the account manager interacts with the Client/Account Executive and all cross‑functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. Essential Functions Firm working knowledge of personal lines coverages and services Promptly identify, manage, and resolve all client issues in a timely manner Maintain client relationships and determine their coverage needs Manage clients' risk and ensure all exposures are properly addressed Negotiate with carrier underwriters on behalf of clients Actively work on retention of current clients with remarketing of current policies Provide premium quotations and proposals to prospects and clients per service standards and procedures Review book of business with the goal of expanding personal lines sales and identifying account rounding opportunities Prepare invoices, binders, certificates, change requests, and all other service‑related items accurately Assist producers with onboarding of new clients Maintain client account information in our agency management system and electronic files in accordance with established workflows Attend department meetings and agency/carrier training sessions Process the daily sweep (client payments sent electronically to carriers) Process the daily download suspense report Review changes are processed correctly by the carrier Review new business is processed correctly by the carrier Perform your job in such a manner that other employees will consider it a pleasure and privilege to work with you Offer innovation and process improvements where possible to help with agency‑wide improvements and efficiencies Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of the job. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements To be considered for the Account Manager position, you should have: Associate Degree (2‑year college or technical school) or work equivalent: Preferred 1‑2 years' experience in customer‑facing role: Required 1‑2 years' experience in the insurance industry: Preferred Property & Casualty License: Preferred Experience in Agency Management System Experience working with multiple carriers and rating systems Familiarity working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) What's in it for you?
