Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neuro Med/Surg patients with telemetry monitoring
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and NIHSS as indicated; monitor for changes and escalate per protocol
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and adverse effects
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety and data privacy
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; may be assigned as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member as needed

Requirements
- New York State Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience
- NIHSS certification or demonstrated NIHSS competency
