Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Unit

Our organization in Savannah, GA is on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. This role involves providing safe, evidence-based care to a varied adult patient demographic dealing with both acute and chronic health issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Administering medications and managing wound care
• Providing IV therapy as needed
• Educating patients and their families about health management
• Coordinating discharge planning for patients
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and infection control

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Experience in a Med-Surg setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
