Description: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation Job. First-timers accepted. Weekends required. Traveler must be willing to float between like units as needed. Locals accepted. Pending license accepted. RTO must be included at time of submission. Facility can call off once per two-week pay period. Type of facility: Acute Care Hospital. Total staffed beds: 277. Scrub color for Imaging Tech: Black. Charting system: Epic. Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics. Daily census and number of visits per day vary. Interdisciplinary support is available. Techs work 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch. Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities nearby the contracted location. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers may need communication devices provided by the client at no cost. Housing options should be explored as they may be limited. Modules are non-billable and averaged at 16 hours spent. Time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded in transcripts.
