About the Position

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Prepare surgical trays and equipment according to facility standards.
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves.
• Perform biological, chemical, and mechanical monitoring of sterilization processes.
• Maintain accurate sterilization and equipment records.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage.
• Distribute sterile supplies and instruments to operating rooms and other departments.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized sterile processing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience
• HSPA certification preferred
• Experience reprocessing surgical instruments
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and infection-control standards
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
