Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense (0-3 Years of Experience)

Location: Orlando, FL (In-Office)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)

Hightower & Partners, an AV-rated insurance defense firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, in-office position , and candidates must be licensed to practice in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, auto claims, and general liability cases.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives.
• Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Experience with billable hours and law firm billing practices preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
