Job Title: Warehouse Worker ( Mon-Fri 8am-430pm)

Job Description

This Warehouse Worker role is a full-time position,. You will serve as an all-around warehouse associate, supporting the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and distribution of materials and products to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. You will work closely with a team of six other Warehouse Associates in a clean, organized, and modern facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products to support internal and external customer needs.

• Work collaboratively as part of a team of six Warehouse Associates to complete daily warehouse operations.

• Pick outgoing orders, including domestic truck shipments, small parcel packages, and international orders.

• Pack and label shipping containers in accordance with domestic and international shipping requirements.

• Process packages using UPS, FedEx, Navision, and Pace jet computer systems.

• Unload and receive incoming trucks, unpack materials, and issue items to designated locations within the facility.

• Verify goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, and related documentation to ensure accuracy.

• Place goods on racks, shelves, or floor locations in an organized and efficient manner.

• Accurately sort, count, and inspect items for damage, reporting or resolving issues as needed.

• Handle the transfer of goods using equipment such as electronic pallet trucks, motorized lifts, pallet jacks, and other required material handling equipment.

• Perform cycle counts as needed and actively participate in the annual inventory count.

• Maintain a clean and orderly department by performing general clean-up tasks on a daily basis.

• Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to support picking, inventory control, and material handling activities.

• Support general labor and production-related tasks in the warehouse and associated areas as needed.

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to ensure consistent workflow and team coordination.

-Past WH experience

-Proficient with computers

-Able to lift 50 lbs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE BLUFF, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
