Composite Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing
Composite Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing (1st Shift)
Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hr (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Contract)
Support a high-rate aerospace manufacturing program performing composite layup and related production tasks. Aerospace/composites experience is preferred, but candidates with strong hands-on manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, laminating, molding, fiberglass, or precision production experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Handle and prepare composite prepreg materials
- Perform composite layup per ply sequence/orientation
- Perform debulk operations during layup
- Vacuum bag tooling and prep parts for curing
- Assist with tool prep, material handling, and part removal
- Follow drawings/work instructions and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain material ID/traceability and complete production/quality documentation
- Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment as needed
- Composite/aerospace manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
- Good hand dexterity; able to perform detailed, repetitive work
- Able to read/follow written work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Fast-paced, hands-on aerospace production; standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks expected.
