Residential Assistant

Location: Diboll Group Home - Diboll, TX Position Number: P #368 About the Role Burke is seeking a Residential Assistant (RA) to provide care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, supporting active treatment programs, and maintaining a safe, structured, and home‑like environment. What You’ll Do Supervise and assist with daily living activities Support the Day Programmer in delivering active treatment services Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment Complete required documentation including activity notes, progress notes, and medication inventory Support individuals in developing life skills and independence Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Valid Texas Driver’s License Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation Dependable and able to work varying shifts What Helps You Stand Out Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Experience in a direct care or residential setting Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Key Skills Direct care and client support Communication and teamwork Time management and reliability Documentation and attention to detail Problem‑solving and adaptability Work Schedule 2 days: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM 3 days: 10:30 PM – 9:00 AM $30,850 annually Why Burke?
