The Role: The Executive Director PACE Operations leads assigned PACE ministries of the PACE Service Line, overseeing operations of at least 7 (seven) ministries operating in several distinct markets, with a minimum of $175m in gross revenue per year. In this capacity, the Executive Director will lead multiple, diverse and distinct PACE ministries and services, and will be responsible for developing and implementing key strategic priorities for the PACE Service Line, including growth, strategic partnerships, innovative/specialized programs and services, overall financial performance, service and clinical quality, regulatory compliance and caregiver experience. Leadership emphasis is on delivery of mission-focused, high-quality care and services to participants, management of a complex budget in a managed care environment, advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion in the work environment and promotion of health equity in our communities. The success of this position will be measured by the degree to which the PACE programs achieve and exceed the operating commitments and key performance indicators of PHCC including the appropriate service line and ministry metrics for Mission Centered, Service Oriented, Person Centered, Quality Focused and Financially Responsible. Major Challenges 1. Effectively manage across multiple sites a complex, multi-dimensional program within allocated resources. 2. Continual improvement of the inter-disciplinary teams functioning for improved service and utilization management. 3. Successful recruitment of all health-related disciplines to effectively staff the care teams. 4. Create a dynamic vision for PACE Operations that engages core leaders and caregivers. What You'll Do: * Leads assigned ministries of PACE Service Line, for successful achievement of PACE Operations and Key Performance Indicators ensuring that quality integrated services are provided across multiple distinct markets. * Leads 7 or more distinct ministries with unique cultures, markets, community relationships, and operations, and a combined gross annual revenue of greater than $175M. * Develops and implements systems for the achievement of all quality, service delivery, utilization and financial targets established for the PACE Service Line. Ensures systems are in place for timely and accurate reporting to meet all organizational requirements related to quality, safety, DEI, care management, compliance, and finance. * Develops and implements key strategic priorities, including, but not limited to, system restructure, organizational development and redesign, operational integration across multiple ministries, and strategic growth in unique and under-served markets that have been identified as strategic growth opportunities by PACE executive leadership. * Develops and implements systems to achieve Service Excellence to participants, families, caregivers and community-based partners and contracted providers. * Responsible for staying abreast of all legislative and regulatory issues affecting PACE and related programs. Establishes liaisons with local and state industry representatives to further the understanding of PACE. Maintains relationship with CMS and State Medicaid/Department of Aging and Health and Social Services. * Develops and implements both financial and clinical strategies and operations consistent with the strategic goals, mission and values of the PACE Service Line, HCC and the Health System. * Develops and implements strategies for operating systems designed to support growth and alignment with related elements of the clinical continuum of care, including but not limited to PACE and other community-based services. * Responsible for ensuring that quality, comprehensive services are provided within the scope and intent of the PACE model of care per regulatory and licensing standards. * Manages assigned core leaders and shared service functions in accordance with PHS mission, values and policies; builds high-functioning teams with highly engaged leaders delivering best in class participant experience and outcomes, including the best geriatric clinical practices available for the frail elderly population; leads coordinated cross-ministry work to ensure financial performance, and assumes advocacy role in public and community relations activities related to improving access to PACE for all eligible beneficiaries. * Spiritually Grounded: Expresses a fit between the Providence Mission and Core Values and who she or he is as a person. What You’ll Bring: Education & Credentials * Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field; or equivalent educ/experience.
