Job Summary We are seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our team at Fort Myers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 120-bed facility located in Fort Myers, Florida. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by organizing and leading recreational activities, social events, and therapeutic programs. Activities Assistant Responsibilities Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities programs for residents, including social events, recreational activities, and therapeutic programs Develop and maintain relationships with residents to understand their interests and preferences, and tailor activities to meet their needs Coordinate and lead activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and entertainment programs Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement activity plans, including budgeting and scheduling Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules Support the activities department in other tasks, as needed Activities Assistant Requirements Prior experience in the senior care industry preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move light weights, as needed How To Apply If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about working with seniors, please apply for the Activities Assistant position at Fort Myers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
