Director OF Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapy Director Medina, OH We are looking for an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapy Director to lead our respiratory therapy services in a skilled nursing setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory professional who enjoys leadership, clinical oversight, and working closely with an interdisciplinary team. What You’ll Do Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department Lead, train, and support respiratory therapy staff Ensure high-quality respiratory care for residents Develop and maintain respiratory care plans and protocols Monitor clinical outcomes and quality of care Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations Collaborate with nursing, physicians, rehabilitation, and other clinical departments Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records Assist with staff scheduling and department needs Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives Serve as a clinical leader and resource for respiratory care What We’re Looking For Current Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) license/certification as required Previous respiratory therapy experience Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Strong clinical and organizational skills Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively Knowledge of respiratory care regulations and best practices Excellent communication and documentation skills Why Join Us?
