Description

• Evaluate patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and devise tailored treatment plans
• Carry out physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercises
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory stipulations
• Participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure seamless care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Preferred previous experience in a clinical environment
• Ability to treat patients with complex medical and mobility needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Comfortable navigating digital charting and clinical documentation systems
