As a Security Officer Access Control in Muskegon, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer patrolling a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $16.74 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support site personnel during critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access as directed by site policies, and help to document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity.
• Complete routine reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
