Role Description This full-time, on-site Retail role is based at the AutoZone store in Muskegon, MI. The team member will assist customers in finding the right automotive parts and accessories, provide product recommendations, and support both DIY and commercial customers at the sales counter and on the sales floor. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, looking up parts, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and processing transactions accurately. The role also involves learning and applying product knowledge, participating in ongoing training, and following company procedures to promote safety, store standards, and a positive customer experience. The team member will work collaboratively with fellow AutoZoners to meet store goals and deliver excellent service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Customer Satisfaction skills with a focus on helping customers find appropriate solutions. Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge or the ability and willingness to learn about automotive parts and accessories. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with diverse customers and teammates. Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to use point‑of‑sale systems and look up parts and inventory. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform light physical tasks in a retail environment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
