As a Security Officer Unarmed Property Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff with a caring, professional presence while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related procedures.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, hallways, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional presence throughout the location.
• Assist with de-escalation, direction-giving, and general assistance for visitors and staff while supporting security-related policies, post orders, and incident reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
