What You ll Do:

• Provide diagnostic assessments, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
• Gather and analyze biopsychosocial data to inform clinical decisions
• Prescribe and monitor medications, including lab work review and ordering
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including treatment plans and medication histories
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Serve as a health care resource, advocate, and consultant within the organization
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, confidentiality, and safety protocols

What You Need:
Required:

• Licensure as a registered nurse and as an advanced practice registered nurse (ARNP) in Iowa
• Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years related clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mental health treatments and psychotropic medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of involuntary hospitalization laws and managed care practices

Preferred:

• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care approach
