POSITION: Early Childhood Coordinator (Temporary)

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 2026 June 30, 2027

ASSIGNMENT: District

REPORTS TO: Deputy Superintendent

QUALIFICATIONS: School District Leader or School District Administrator certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee Universal Pre-K Program
• On-site administrator for School 12 Pre K
• Collaborate with Central registration to oversee the Pre K registration process
• Conduct Pre K site visits
• Ensure compliance to the Pre K regulations from the New York State Education Department Office of Early Learning
• Evaluate performance of staff
• Implement a transition plan for pre k students into kindergarten
• Provide professional development and support for teachers
• Work with Coordinator of Grants and Funded Programs to monitor budget and ensure funds are allocated appropriately
• Ensure implementation of curriculum aligned with state standards and K-5 learning expectations
• Any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Deputy Superintendent

SALARY: Based on Experience and TAA Contract
