Senior Electrical Engineer

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop automation products for life science applications. The role involves designing analog and digital circuits, printed circuit board assemblies, and collaborating across engineering disciplines from concept through product release. Based in Indianapolis, the position requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of product design experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop biotech automation products from concept through release and sustainment
- Translate user needs and design requirements into engineering solutions
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians across disciplines
- Present technical findings and recommendations in design review meetings
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience, or M.S. with 3+ years
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Printed circuit board schematic and layout design
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration on product development
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 20 pounds
