Job Description - Germanna Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. As a comprehensive community college, Germanna provides quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities for the residents of the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, Culpeper, King George, Madison, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford. The Dental Hygiene Department at Germanna Community College is currently seeking didactic and clinical adjunct professors for face-to-face teaching assignments to serve in the following areas: Pharmacology and Dental Hygiene III. This role includes the supervision of dental hygiene students during the provision of comprehensive dental hygiene care. Roles in both programs include the opportunity for teaching didactic portions of the curriculum as expertise in particular subjects may be needed. Please note: This wide salary range reflects the diverse faculty ranks within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Final salary determination and placement within this range are based on the candidate's academic credentials and occupational experience as evaluated via the VCCS-10 process.

Special Assignments - May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications - Registered Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor's degree Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS2.2 prior to teaching (will be provided by the college) Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools

Additional Considerations - Prior teaching experience Work experience in the field Experience with online teaching Master's of Science

Required Travel - You will be required to travel to some college locations and to various clinical locations in the area.
