About the role We're looking for a detail-oriented administrative assistant to support our accounting and operations teams. You'll handle accounting overflow, materials purchasing coordination, and general administrative tasks—working directly with our accounting admin in a remote, flexible arrangement. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills across accounting, purchasing, and business operations with a high-end residential remodeling company.

What you'll do

Process accounts payable and receivable, including data entry and invoice management

Coordinate material purchases by collecting requests from project leads and processing orders through established vendors

Track and manage purchase orders from placement through delivery, ensuring all materials arrive on schedule

Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting

Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and professional communications with clients and trade partners

Support operational and administrative needs as they arise

What we're looking for

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (critical for order tracking and invoicing)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Comfort learning new systems quickly

Professional communication style with internal teams, clients, and vendors

Nice to have: Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, Microsoft Office experience, general administrative or customer service background, familiarity with construction materials or vendor relationships. We're willing to train the right candidate on company-specific processes.
