Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate $14.00 to $18.00 per hour. Staff can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $3.72 per hour on top of the hourly rate. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate, you will collaborate with store staff to provide customer service across lending and retail operations. You will greet, engage, and assist customers in sales, loans, and other transactions, handling jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Greet and interact with all customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions. Perform non‑management open/close procedures. Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and display merchandise. Process sales and loan transactions in line with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handle cash and negotiable items securely. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers. Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Complete assigned training successfully. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Capable of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. Willingness to assist customers outside the building and retrieve items from exterior storage. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer‑literate; able to operate POS systems and common office equipment. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details will be provided during the interview process.
