Join a dynamic team within the Operating Room Department where we focus on providing high-quality cardiovascular surgical care. Our team operates with a variety of staff depending on the schedule and case volume, including:

• CVOR Surgeons
• Registered Nurses (RN)
• Certified Surgical Technologists (CVOR Scrub Techs)
• Anesthesia Providers
• Perfusionists
• Surgical Assistants

We provide 1:1 patient care in the operating room, utilizing advanced cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment.

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Valve Repair and Replacement
• TAVR Procedures
• Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
• Vascular Surgical Procedures
• Open Heart Surgery

Experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists with open-heart surgery experience are most recruited for.

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• CVOR/Open Heart Surgery scrub experience
• Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Ability to take call and respond within the required timeframe

Scrub color and attire are provided by the facility.

• Participate in scheduled call rotation
• Maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting

Regular Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

On-Call Requirements:

• Some Thursday call coverage required
• Monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 call days
• Weekend call rotated among team members
• Must be able to report within established callback response time
