Overview

Group 1 Honda of Woodstock is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive a leader in automotive retail sales and service.

We are growing and looking to add ExpressLube Technicians/Mechanics to work with our Quality Dealerships representing a Quality Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes fluid services and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires brakes belts hoses and filters
• Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
• Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine brakes tires fluids)
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services including:
• Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotation and pressure checks
• Fluid checks and topâoffs (transmission coolant brake power steering)
• Battery testing and replacement
• Visual inspections of belts hoses and filters
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
