Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Pay: $30 – $35 / hour (based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description: This role supports a busy, evolving HR function, working closely with leadership on day-to-day HR operations spanning employee relations, payroll coordination, HR systems, and benefits administration. The ideal person is adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives juggling multiple priorities in a fast-changing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and a dedicated payroll resource to support accurate payroll processing
• Support HRIS implementation work, including system updates, data validation, testing, and documentation
• Help manage employee relations issues, including documentation and resolution
• Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbook content
• Oversee benefits-related administration, including HSA/FSA updates within HR systems
• Assist with vendor coordination and benefits projects such as broker evaluations and RFPs
• Provide broader support across HR initiatives and general administrative needs

Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of progressive generalist HR experience, spanning benefits, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, and retention
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred; ADP experience a plus)
• Solid grasp of employee relations, HR policy, and best practices
• Prior experience supporting HR system implementations or upgrades strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking and ability to spot trends in a fast-paced setting
• Proactive, adaptable, and interpersonally strong
