Overview Alera Group is looking for an Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team - joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of US business. We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities Manage Service Requests - Handle pre-renewals/renewals, complete Acord applications, submit to carriers, and analyze quotations. Client Support - Prepare proposals, summaries, binders, invoices, and certificates; review endorsements, policies, and audits for accuracy. Compliance & Contracts - Conduct contract reviews, resolve COI compliance issues, order endorsements, and ensure insurance requirements are met. System & Workflow Management - Use internal systems to track and prioritize workload; follow up professionally with clients and carriers. Collaboration & Meetings - Participate in renewal meetings and coordinate with producers and account managers. Training & Development - Complete certifications and training; assist with mentoring Account Assistants as needed. Carrier & Industry Knowledge - Stay up to date on carrier underwriting guidelines and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years of property and casualty insurance experience 1+ years at the Account Manager level, preferred Applicable state Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent’s License Industry-related certifications desired College degree preferred, or equivalent experience Additional Information This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
