Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Clayton, NY, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to manage outpatient and specialty pharmacy services. This contract role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a consistent workweek in a dynamic pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense specialty and targeted retail medications
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and protocols
Qualifications:
- Current New York State pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate pharmacy systems effectively and accurately
