About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal leadership role within the firm and its portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for all firm-level financial operations, including finance, accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. This role demands a strategic partner who can provide financial insights on performance, capital structure, and portfolio oversight, and who is adept at supporting acquisitions, integrations, refinancings, and exit planning. The CFO will also be instrumental in designing and enhancing financial infrastructure, controls, and reporting across the portfolio companies, and will serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs and management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and value-creation initiatives. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background that includes prior CFO experience within private equity, PE-backed companies, or lower-middle-market environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep familiarity with transaction dynamics, leverage, debt facilities, and investor reporting, and experience working with boards, founders, and investment committees. A CPA and/or prior public accounting background is preferred. The role is based in Chicago and offers the opportunity for meaningful exposure to investment decision-making and hands-on value creation across a focused private equity platform.
