Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN in a healthcare facility covering night shifts, this role requires delivering specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. The position involves assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and providing education to families, with a focus on high-risk neonatal cases.

Job Details

• Position Description: NICU RN responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for neonatal patients. Provides direct patient care, family education, and transitions of care in an acute setting. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), NRP, 2 years of level III or level IV NICU experience, charge and high-risk delivery experience preferred, experience with charting systems (Epic), community hospital experience required, travel experience required, at least 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience, high-risk delivery experience, and proficiency in neonatal-specific procedures.
• Additional Information: The position involves performing advanced neonatal procedures such as arterial line management, ECMO, nitric oxide therapy, and management of ventilators, along with family teaching and supportive care in a neonatal intensive care environment. The role includes float coverage as needed, and a 36-hour orientation.
