What You’ll Do: Beacourtroomadvocate : RepresentclientsfacingevictioninBronxHousingCourtthroughlitigationandnegotiation. Fightforhousingstability : Counselclientsanddeveloplegalstrategiesthathelpfamiliesstayintheirhomes. Handlemeaningfulcases : Takefullownershipofadynamiccaseload,includingnon-paymentandholdoverproceedings,administrativehearings,andappeals. Empowercommunities : Leadoutreach,legaleducationworkshops,andtrainingstoinformtenantsoftheirrightsandstrengthencommunityresilience. Collaborateforimpact : Workcloselywithsocialworkers,advocates,andhousingcounselorsinaholistic,client-centeredmodel. Createlastingchange : Draftmotions,orders,stipulations,andengageinstrategiclitigationtoinfluencehousingoutcomesatasystemiclevel.
