Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

An opportunity is available for a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of situational emergencies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients presenting with various diagnoses including trauma, stroke, and STEMI.
• Manage patient flow and ensure the safety and comfort of all patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Implement emergency protocols and maintain a calm, effective response to critical situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience is required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
