Security Officer Access Management

As a Security Officer Access Management in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry points, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through visible presence and routine patrols. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thu: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check visitor and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site. Maintain logs of visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity, report unusual conditions, and follow Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
