Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center PACU Charlotte, NC, United States Our fast‑paced Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Carolinas Medical Center provides comprehensive, high‑acuity recovery care for patients emerging from surgery in a Level I Trauma Center. We care for diverse and complex patient populations, including trauma, emergent, and elective surgical cases across all specialties. This is a part‑time position: 24 hours per week, scheduled 3 days per week 3 p – 11 p, with call availability. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create a safe patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. ACLS and PALS strongly preferred. At least one year of previous critical care, emergency department, or PACU experience strongly preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Benefits eligible: Yes.
