Position Highlights
- Start: ASAP
- Ongoing assignment beginning in July
- Seeking coverage for approximately 1.5 2 weeks per month
- Expedited consideration available for providers available immediately
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- hours per week
- 50 guaranteed hours per week (guarantee does not apply during weeks with approved time off)
- Includes weekday, evening, and weekend call responsibilities
Call Requirements
- In-house weeknight call (3:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Typically 1 2 nights per month
- Includes pre-call shift and post-call day off
- In-house weekend call
- Approximately 1 weekend per month
- Coverage may include:
- Friday 3:00 PM Saturday 7:00 AM and Sunday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM, or
- Saturday 7:00 AM Sunday 7:00 AM
Clinical Requirements
- Must be comfortable performing regional anesthesia
- No cardiac cases
- No complex pediatric cases
- No transplant cases
- Must be comfortable independently performing cases
- Must also be comfortable working within a supervision/care team model
Credentialing
- Typical credentialing timeframe: days
- Opportunity to be ready for July coverage with immediate submission
Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
- Flexible and team-oriented
- Comfortable with a broad range of general anesthesia cases and regional techniques
- Interested in ongoing locum coverage with a stable schedule
